| 5:16 pm | Art 2009 Happy belated New Year :D Since all the fests I drew for in 2009 have finished their final reveals I am now posting my 2009 art . 2009 featured over 25 individual pieces of art for fests, banners and commissions, and since this was the year of me discovering the graphic tablet, most of them in digital. I would also like to take a minute to thank all the lovely people who rec-ed and commented on my art. *snuggles them* I am more than overwhelmed with the welcome that my latest piece -for Kinky Kristmas- has recieved. | 7:35 pm | Where has fandom gone? I think I am not the only one who has noticed the decline in comments in fests this year. Hell in comments in general, be it journals or communities or fests. Till recently I had assumed that people had wandered off, had found other interests, other fandoms. So far, so good. I was in for quite a shock when I looked at the hit-count in a fest I gave web-space to. I though I was being pessimistic when I assumed one comment per 100 viewers. Looks like was being optimistic. The comments average at about 20 to 30. It seems fandom has gone no where, but has forgotten how to comment. 30 comments on 5839 views. MAX. Seriously people, this is not cool. This is beyond discouraging. Is it really so hard to comment, to say something, anything to the people who provide you with free entertainment? No one expects pages of praise, a simple 'I liked it' is more than sufficient. 'I am too shy to comment' is a really lame excuse, people. You were not too shy to view or read. Do you not realize that the free entertainment will go away if you do not do your part: encourage us to keep going. Seeing that not even 1% cares enough to comment ... Thoughts? Ideas?  |

| 5:18 pm | Merry Fucking Christmas I am currently trying very hard not to hide under my comforter and cry for the next week straight. I have not been home for Christmas in over six years, college terms do not allow for that. This would have been the first time. And no, another ticket is out of the question, they offer re-booking, not refund. I am usually more like to side with the workers, but I have NO sympathy and only rage for the BA staff. If they cared one iota about their customer beyond their paychecks they would have started the strike AFTER the biggest family holiday of the year. Keeping hundreds of thousands of families apart is the most dickish, selfish and punch in the face worthy thing I have heard in a while. But what do they care, they are home with their families during the strike. I hope you arseholes all lose your job. No thanks, Jin Current Mood: depressed |

| 7:22 am | REC: Snupin ' Mysery Loves Company' I do not usually do recs, and for obvious reasons cannot for fests I am involved in the modding, but this falls in neither cathegory. *imperius* Go read this Snape/Lupin! Now! Even if you don't ship them. The Snape vs Dumbledore interactions are made from awesome. Set right after the war there is still mutual mistrust with a thin veneer of civil behaviour.
