This may interest you if you are hosting art at flickr. The bastards changed their TOS:

Don’t use your account to host web graphics like logos and banners.
Your account will be terminated if we find you using it to host graphic elements of web page designs, icons, smilies, buddy icons, forum avatars, badges, and other non-photographic elements on external web sites.

BRB busy saving my art to my harddrive and searching for a new image host.

Yeah. I am more than slightly annoyed as this as it makes no sense. I can see them not wanting people to use it for commercial banners but to limit it to photos when the images are used the same way is stupid. There is not bandwidth difference between me posting digital art or a photo of said art on my LJ. It gets even dumber when you think about that they will have to decided when a manic is a graphic and not a photo any more *HEADDESK*.

And here I was thinking about buying an account...

	Back again. I noticed it said the last time they updated the TOS was November 24, 2008. Not saying they can't crack down at any time but it would seem it wasn't a recent change. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
